Windy August continues. Bank holiday weekend and in keeping with the incredibly unseasonal weather there has been wind on each day of it. Unfortunately I was unable to sail on Saturday or Sunday but no bother as Monday delivered plenty. I arrived at the beach in a post-shower lull and as the wind returned it took me a while to work out what kit was best. Eventually I settled on the waveboard+5.2 combo and the first half-hour on this setup was great fun. My helmet had been donned and although ramps were sparse I did manage to bust out one half-decent loop attempt. I initiated it really well and was just starting to rotate but then forgot to look back grrr which resulted in a big bail but also a big grin on my face! :)

Annoyingly I was then unable to find any more loopable ramps as a result of the rising tide which soon turned the water state into a corrugated waveless mess. I perserved with the chop bothering for a while but soon got bored so quits were called earlier than normal given the persiting solid breeze.
